Roger Federer's first comments after beating Nadal: Wimbledon 2019

Roger Federer has spoken out on his victory against Rafael Nadal in Wimbledon 2019 semi-finals. Federer managed to beat Rafa after 4 sets 7-6 (7-3), 1-6, 6-3, 6-3. Swiss star told BBC after the match that he feels exhausted and mentioned Rafa's effort to stay in the match during 4th set.

"I'm exhausted. It was tough at the end. Rafa played some unbelievable shots to stay in the match. The match was played at a very high level." Federer said.

"The biggest points in the match went my way. There were tight ones and long rallies. That first set was huge to get the lead and try to protect it. He came back very strongly in the second set. It was a joy to play today." he added.

Wimbledon 2019 men's singles final will be played on Sunday.
