Roger Federer names Novak Djokovic’s three biggest threats at Wimbledon

Roger Federer has discussed the three main contenders to face Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon final, particularly highlighting Alexander Zverev as a very dangerous opponent to play against. After winning the Australian and French Opens this year, Djokovic is clearly the favourite to add another title to his collection. However, Federer feels that world number two Daniil Medvedev and big-serving Matteo Berrettini could both give Djokovic a real test, while Zverev should also be in the mix. “I feel like Zverev also should be higher maybe because I’ve played him on grass before. I know he can play very well on the grass, especially if he’s clocking his serves”, - says the Swiss legend. Then he added, - “I don’t know how to explain it to you. I don’t care. It doesn’t matter. But they probably are right about Djokovic making all those finals on the other side, that he’s the favourite [in that half of the draw].” Reminder that this year’s Wimbledon Men’s Singles final will take place on Centre Court on Sunday 11th July at 2pm. Incidentally, it’s on the same day as the Euro 2020 final, although the tennis should be over by the time as football starts at 8pm. Source - Metro Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
