Roger Federer makes retirement statement ahead of controversial exhibition tour

Roger Federer and Alexander Zverev have touched down in Argentina as they get set to play five matches in five different countries. The Swiss has reiterated that he has no plans to retire from tennis any time soon, although he first questioned it 10 years ago. "My retirement is going to depend on my health," he said at a press conference held at a hotel in Puerto Madero on Monday. "At this moment I see no reason to stop." He added: "I think in 2009 I questioned it for the first time. [It's been] ten years and here I am. I'm exactly where I wanted to be at this age. It is a lot of work stay. I expected to play until 35-36 and here I am, in a new dimension." Source- Express
