Roger Federer explains who he feels closer to out of Rafael Nadal than Novak Djokovic

Roger Federer has admitted he feels closer to Rafael Nadal than he does with Novak Djokovic. Federer has faced both Djokovic and Nadal an incredible 89 times throughout his career. The 38-year-old has played the Serbian more than anyone else throughout his career, nine more than Nadal. "It's quite special at the same time that the three of us are doing what we are doing," he said. "We are all writing history in our own ways, we all three could not be happier with our careers, we just had an interview together for an English TV. It was the first time that all of the three of us had a joint interview and it was interesting to see how we all react to the questions, we know each other quite well but to give an answer in front of the other person was new and unusual for us. "They are incredible players. I may be a bit closer to Rafa than Novak, but at the same time, I played Novak more than Rafa. The rivalry has been fantastic and I hope there will be more to come. The matches against Rafa this year in the French Open and Wimbledon were terrific and against Novak, I had a great match at Wimbledon of course and also at the World Tour Finals in London last week. So hopefully there is more to come." Source- Express
