Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal awkward dressing room tale told by Novak Djokovic
Novak Djokovic has revealed the awkward changing room situations he sometimes has with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
At some major events, such as the ATP Finals, players have their own locker room which only they and their team can enter. But at lesser events, namely ATP 250 or 500s, the players can all be made to occupy the same area before matches.
“We mostly avoid each other,” Djokovic said of Federer and Nadal when they share changing facilities.
“Locker rooms aren’t that big everywhere, so we sometimes hide behind our lockers or something like that.
“Sometimes we take shower cabins next to each other, but we don’t look.
“It’s a bit uncomfortable, we are in awkward situations there with our team, huge emotions are on the line.”
