Robin van Persie reacts to Edinson Cavani joining Manchester United

Former Manchester United star Robin van Persie has reacted to Edinson Cavani joining Manchester United. The Red Devils missed out their number one target Jadon Sancho this summer, while they managed to secure the transfer of 33-year-old forward in order to strengthen the attack. Cavani signed a one-year deal with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, making a move to Old Trafford on a free transfer. And Van Persie has hailed the player's arrival and predicted that the Uruguayan striker would have a positive effect on the squad players, including Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood. He wrote: "Agent RVP. Glad to see you were listening, Manchester United! the iconic Dutchman joked on Twitter. Brilliant signing and adds plenty of experience.
