Roberto Mancini to set Italy for Euro-2020 title race

Italy national team manager Roberto Mancini believes the team should be concentrating on Euro-2020, as they were left out of WC-2018 earlier in 2017.

“I am very proud of what is happening to me. I think for a Coach to lead his national team is the maximum and I am very happy,” FIGC Twitter account quotes the Italian. “Unfortunately, in football there are difficult and negative moments, so we must find a way to bring the Nazionale back where it belongs," he continued “Italy have always been one of the best national teams in the world and therefore we hope to have all the components on our side to achieve that. “My principle objectives are the same that the Nazionale have always had, which is to put a team on its feet quickly that can play to win the Euros and then the World Cup. There are no other objectives," the manager concluded on the matter.
