Robert Lewandowski has previously admitted that he would love to experience playing in the Premier League.
Chelsea are desperate to add a striker to their ranks this summer and the Bayern Munich star has been closely linked with a move to Stamford Bridge over the last few days.
Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland and Inter Milan's Romelu Lukaku are still on the Blues' shortlist.
However, Thomas Tuchel are poised to turn to Lewandowski, with them reportedly ready to make a £50million offer.
And if Chelsea make their move and look to lure the striker to Stamford Bridge, Lewandowski may not take much persuasion as he admitted several years ago that he would like to play in England.
"I will be able to sign a contract [with any club] in January, but I have never said that I will sign a contract with Bayern,” Lewandowski told The Telegraph back in 2013.
"It was a misunderstanding. It is true I had an opportunity to speak with Sir Alex Ferguson [ in 2012], but we didn’t mention the transfer.
"One day I would like to play in Premier League. It would be a great experience."
