Rivaldo has tipped Manchester City to win the Champions League this season at the expense of holders Bayern Munich and Spanish giants Real Madrid. With a historic quadruple in their sights, Pep Guardiola's runaway Premier League table-toppers have been drawn against Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals of the competition. It's a two-legged European tie that will take place on Tuesday, April 6 and Wednesday, April 14. Rivaldo said (via MEN): "Manchester City are the favourites to win the Champions League, something Pep (Guardiola) has been chasing for a long time since he won it twice with Barcelona. "In my opinion, and looking at how they are playing right now, they deserve to be the current favourites but there are other big rivals such as Bayern Munich, PSG and Real Madrid "I put them slightly ahead because they (Bayern) are facing PSG in the quarter-finals in the repeat of last season's final, so they will immediately face a tough test while Manchester City could have a smoother tie against Borussia Dortmund." Aside from ongoing their European charge, City meet Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup final on April 25 - a week on from an FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea.
