Rio Ferdinand and Jamie Carragher reacted to Harry Kane's absence from Tottenham

Harry Kane has failed to report for Tottenham training as scheduled, with the news emerging on Monday. The 28-year-old is reportedly keen on moving to Manchester City and won't return to Spurs training until he's sure he will be allowed to leave the club. And Jamie Carragher and Rio Ferdinand are in disagreement over Kane's controversial decision as they expressed their thoughts on Twitter.
Ferdinand doesn't judge Kane's decision as he wants to win trophies. He tweets: "And I’m not saying that Harry Kane and his tactics to leave are wrong (if we are to believe what’s being said) Harry wants trophies and he ain’t getting any younger."

However, former Liverpool defender disagrees. "I disagree, it is wrong not to turn up for training," writes Carragher. "We all know he wants to go & can totally understand why. But Harry should not ruin his name or relationship with the supporters who idolise him just to get the move. Spurs will always be HIS club."

Manchester United hero later responded: "Ruin his name for wanting to go and win the league?? He has given his all for that club. when the dust settles they will remember him in the positive way his time there will deserve."

Carragher responds yet for another time: "Not for wanting to win the league, for how he goes about leaving the club. At least the clubs that have your players know how they’ll go about it when you want them out!!"
