Rio 2016. Medal count after Day 11

Rio 2016 Olympic Games Day 11 revealed its winners and losers, changing the medal count table. First four positions (USA, Great Britain, China and Russia) remaining unchanged, Germany has made a big step towards the leading positions with medals won in canoe sprint.

By the way, the long-term leaders USA, Great Britain and China have slowed down. USA, for example has won 2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals. Chinese claimed 2 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals. Great Britain, however, still tries to keep the rhythm: 2 gold and 4 bronze medals secured their second place after Day 2.

Russia, in turn, has climbed up to the 4th position and seems to keep it, as the synchronized swimming duet claimed gold which has become Russia’s 5th consecutive Olympic gold in this sports event.
