REVEALED: What’s the reason for Alexandre Lacazette to be left out of France squad?

France manager Didier Deschamps has claimed that Alexandre Lacazette must continue performing well at Arsenal. The France international was left out of World Cup  success in the summer and was absent from Les Bleus’ games in September against Germany and Holland. However, after his stunning form for Arsenal many started thinking that he could be called by Didier Deschamps. Speaking to the media ahead of his side's game against Iceland, Deschamps revealed the reason for not naming the striker in his squad. "There is competition for each position," said the World Cup winning manager. "When the players who were at the World Cup are performing well… It is not a question of type of player, but of position. "I need balance in the squad and he is a central attacker. "He must continue," the manager added.
