REVEALED: What kind of PUNISHMENT PL RIVALS want for Manchester City?

Premier League clubs believe Manchester City should get punished for breaking financial fair-play rules, but the PL relegation would be a ‘too severe’ decision for the club, The Athletic has reported.  Premier League back-to-back champions have recently been banned from European competitions for two seasons after UEFA have decided the club has broken the rules several times during the period between 2012 and 2016.  Despite the ban, Man City must pay a €30 mln fine. However, the club has already hired lawyers to win the case in the CAS.  The Premier League is considering an internal punishment for Pep Guardiola’s team and while some rivals are against severe actions, other ones have gone for the idea of strict treatment from league association.  The only thing that almost every club has agreed, was that the relegation should be too much and will make the Premier League a ‘circus’.
