REVEALED: Unai Emery unveils the true reason for Mesut Ozil to be out

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has revealed why Mesut Ozil missed Arsenal 3-1 win over West Ham. Many have suggested that the German was cut from the squad due to blazing training ground row but the truth is that Ozil missed the match because of an illness. Ozil was hugely ineffective during the defeats against Manchester City and Chelsea. However, after the match Emery insisted the reason Ozil didn't feature was illness. Emery said: "Yeah he was ill and yesterday we decided with the doctor and with him that he would not play. "Today he is here and with the team also because he feels better today but he is not here now because he was sick yesterday."
