According to the Sun, Marcus Rashford’s goal against Tottenham provided a glimpse into tactical revolution Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is performing at Manchester United.
TalkSPORT’s Jim White said earlier this week: “The Marcus Rashford goal came straight off the training pitch.
“They’ve been hitting Rashford on the diagonal over and over and over again in practice. This is what I hear. That suggests Ole prefers Rashford to the mobility of Lukaku.”
Marcus Rashford, who has repaid Solskjaer’s faith with four goals in six appearances, uses his pace to stretch defences as the frontman.
Romelu Lukaku, however, is known to remain more direct and is often found lurking centrally within the perimeter of the posts, compared to his younger colleague who constantly works the channels.
And that appears to be why Rashford is being referred to the Belgian star, and it does not look like it is going to change any time soon.
