Anthony Martial had another disappointing season for Manchester United and boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been left unimpressed with the forward’s lack of focus and commitment levels on the training ground.
His poor attitude had convinced Solskjaer that it was time t bring an end to the Frenchman’s underwhelming Old Trafford career.
However, United co-chairman Joel Glazer has rejected Solskjaer’s calls to sell the 23-year-old.
According to The Daily Mirror, Glazer has stepped in once again to veto Martial’s potential departure this summer. In fact, Martial is Glazer's favourite player who allegedly considers him 'to be the club's Pele'.
Martial, who joined United for a fee of £36million back in 2015, has only managed three goals in all competitions for the Red Devils since the turn of the year.
