REVEALED: Manchester United’s 3 defensive transfer targets

Manchester United looking for new players to strengthen their squad in the January transfer window, despite Jose Mourinho’s sacking. As we have reported before, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been given a budget of £50m to spend during January transfer window. The top target for Old Trafford chiefs will be a new defender after shipping 29 goals in 17 games-only four Premier League sides have conceded more. Here are three players who are on their radar: Toby Alderweireld Tottenham centre-back Toby Alderweireld has refused to sign a new deal with Spurs and can leave the club for nothing next summer. Mauricio Pochetino’s side may decide to cash in on Alderweireld in January. The Belgian will be available for around £30m. Kalidou Koulibaly Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly has also been on United’s radar, however, they have been put off by the Serie A side’s £90m valuation. Napoli would have to lower their asking price and United push the boat out to make a deal happen. Eder Militao Porto’s star Eder Militao, 20, has been a regular this season and could be available for around £40million, however,  he may need time to adapt to the English game and could be one for the future rather than an immediate solution to United’s defensive woes.
