Revealed: When Lucas Torreia will start training after completing a move to Arsenal

With Uruguay crashing out of the World Cup against France, Lucas Torreira is now free to complete his £26.5 million transfer from Sampdoria. The2-year-old will sign a four-year contract and will follow on from the arrivals of Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno and Sokratis. If the transfer Is completed this week, the midfielder is expected to travel home to Uruguay to spend some time with his family and enjoy a holiday following his exertions at the World Cup. Torreira will start his training at London Colney on August 6 six days before Arsenal get their 2018/19 Premier League campaign underway with a home game against Manchester City. The Gunners have games against Atletico Madrid on Thursday, July 26 and then Paris Saint-Germain two days later.
