REVEALED: What inspired Eden Hazard score the majestic winning goal

Eden Hazard produced a moment of brilliance to give Chelsea a dramatic victory at Anfield. Daniel Sturridge scored his ninth goal in nine League Cup appearances for Liverpool with Chelsea seemed to be crashing out of the competition. Hazard had been sent on as a sub just moments before that goal, and watched in horror as the home side briefly took a grip on the tie. Hazard won the ball in midfield and then smashed a stunning shot into the far corner. It was a majestic goal  that helped Chelsea seal a victory. Following the match when Eden Hazard was asked what went through his mind for the goal, he answered: “I spoke with N’Golo on the bench & he told me he didn’t want to take a penalty, so the only solution was to score!”
