David De Gea wants an extra £100,000 a week if he is to sign a new Manchester United contract, according to the Mail Online. United are desperate to keep De Gea, who is happy at the club, but discussions over the contract have so far proved fruitless. Discussions between the 28-year-old's representatives and United have been ongoing for some time but without resolution. United activated a 12-month extension in November, locking the Spaniard in until 2020 and preventing him from talking to interested clubs this month ahead of a potential free transfer.
