Reports: Chelsea JOIN the race for Serie A star

Chelsea are willing to enter the race for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, as reported by Italian media outlet Calciomercato.  The Argentine international has become a transfer target for many European top clubs including Barcelona and Manchester United.  Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard wants to see a new striker for the next season and Lautaro is an alternative for Lyon’s Moussa Dembele.  There is a possibility that Blues can offer a player+cash deal and include Emerson Palmeri or Marcos Alonso.  Inter Milan head coach Antonio Conte is a fan of the Spanish international Alonso and this kind of offer from Chelsea can convince Serie A side consider a deal.  Lautaro has scored 11 goals in 19 Serie A matches this season.
