Report: PL club in contact with Liverpool over potential signing of attacker

Southampton are in contact with Liverpool over a potential signing of Takumi Minamino. The Japanese international has spent the second half of the 2020/21 campaign on loan with the Saints, while now, according to Hampshire Live Southampton are talks with the Reds over a Minamino's future. “Hasenhuttl and his coaches have remained in regular contact with Liverpool as they provided regular updates on Minamino’s development as well as discussing his future with Saints keen on bringing the Japan international back to St Mary’s.”
