Report: Leicester in rush for £20m attacker who rejected Pep Guardiola

Leicester City have targeted Sporting Lisbon winger Gonzalo Plata, who snubbed Manchester City. Plata has turned down Pep Guardiola's side to join the Portuguese club from Independiente del Valle in 2019. He has already impressed, making just 11 Primeira Liga appearances for the Lions. Foxes have eyed Ecuador starlet amid Watford interest. The Sun suggests the winger is already valued at £20 million. Sporting have given the world Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani, Luis Figo, Rafael Leao and Gelson Martins. During the January transfer window the club midfielder Bruno Fernandes has joined Manchester United and now enjoys his playing time with the Red Devils.
