Manchester City midfielder Leroy Sane's possible move to Bayern Munich is up in the air.
Bundesliga side have been linked with the move of Sane last summer. However, the transfer didn't materialise, with the player picking up an unpleasant injury.
This term the 24-year-old still remained in the Germany champions wish list. However, the club's chances of bringing Sane are slowly fading day by day.
According to Sport Bild, sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic recently met with the Germany international's new management in Munich in order to discuss his possible move. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, who contacted Sane in January, did not take part in the meeting, and there's no possibility to have official talks with LIAN Sports until April 1, when Sane’s relationship with Beckham’s Agency ends. The latest incident as well as the world football suspension due to the coronavirus outbreak have raised the doubts over Bayern’s interest in Sane.Meanwhile, Barcelona and Real Madrid have joined the race to get the midfielder.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge had contacted Leroy Sané personally in January. But neither salarial details nor a perspective with the coach has been discussed. This hesitation is causing misunderstanding from the player's side [@cfbayern, @SPORTBILD] pic.twitter.com/D827UWoScH
