Bayern Munich want to offer Alphonso Davies new contract, following the player's impressive performance against Chelsea in the Champions League last-16 first leg last night. The young winger has joined Bayern from Vancouver Whitecaps last winter, becoming a key player with the German side. The Canada international's contract expires in the summer of 2023. However, according to Florian Plettenberg of Sport1, the Germany champions are eager to sign a new contract with the 19-year-old winger, offering higher salary.
