The reasons why Unai Emery is considering axing Mesut Ozil against Manchester United

Mesut Ozil is in danger to be benched in Sunday’s match against Manchester United. The German started in Thursday’s Europa League defeat to Rennes as well as in sensational win against Bournemouth. However, the German has missed a number of big matches this season playing no part in trips to the Ethiad, Anfield and Old Trafford. Reports claim that Ozil could be benched in the upcoming match against Manchester United as Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has reasons to do so. One of the reasons is that Ozil doesn’t suit Emery’s requirements to improve Arsenal’s aggression of performances. If Ozil is left on the bench, it would be the 19th time in Arsenal’s last 26 games since early November that he has failed to start.
