The Gunners have made a number of notable signings so far during this transfer window, including Lucas Torreira and Bernd Leno. However, they failed to sign PSG player Yacine Adli though he has also been linked with the club.
RMC Sport journalist Loic Tanzi has revealed the reason why the Gunners didn’t sign him.
‘A few clubs had been interested in him, notably Arsenal,’ Tanzi told Get French Football News. ‘It depends on the source – some of them were saying that he’d agreed to sign but then turned around and decided to stay at PSG, but those closer to him said that it wasn’t a U-turn and that he hadn’t agreed anything with Arsenal. ‘He simply had the two options on the table but decided to stay at PSG.’
Now we can conclude that Adli will remain in Paris for at least one more campaign.
