Reason why Arsenal gave up on Ever Banega transfer and switched focus to Denis Suarez

Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal before the January window opened. But in recent days the talks of Banega move has cooled down as Arsenal has switched their attention to Barcelona star Denis Suarez. According to Mirror, the reason for this sudden shift is all to do with a conflict of interests between Emery and the Arsenal top brass. Unai Emery has worked with Banega during his time at Valencia and Sevilla. But his decision to bring the 30 year old wasn't approved by the board as they think that instead spending money on Banega, they can get a younger midfielder. And Denis Suarez is the best choice as he has also worked with the Arsenal boss.
