"I was really good in that": Frimpong explains how he earned place in The Hoops first-team spot

Celtic starlet Jeremie Frimpong has explained how he could earn the club's first-team spot this season. The 18-year-old has shown impressive performances during the two appearances he had for the Hoops. He didn't want to play instead of Ross County or Partick Thistle. He just managed to attract the Celtic boss Neil Lennon during training. Speaking on his success, Frimpong told in Celtic’s YouTube channel video: “There was one session where we did like an 11 a side, and I was really good in that, and he was like ‘oh, fantastic’, and I was waiting to go home, and he was like ‘just be ready'."
