The real reason Roberto Firmino's hair was red for Champions League victory parade

Photo/John Powell/Getty Images Liverpool beat Tottenham 2-0 and claimed sixth Champions League trophy last week. Roberto Firmino was pictured with red spray in his hair in the hours which followed victory in Madrid. Dejan Lovren has revealed the reason the Brazilian’s hair was red. According to the Croatian international, this follows the bizarre pledge the players made ahead of the Kyiv final in 2018. Lovren admitted his team-mates made a pact to dye their hair if they were victorious against Real Madrid. When presented with a picture of Virgil van Dijk during the 'What's in a photo' video, the defender said: "Hair is still there! "He said because we had an idea that if we won the Champions League, we would all cut our hair off or make it blonde or a different colour. He was the only one who didn't want to do anything. So I said to him, 'My friend, it doesn't work like that! If we are a team we do it like a team altogether'." Alisson, Mohamed Salah, Alberto Moreno and Curtis Jones all took part in the pledge to spray their hair red. But the only player who emerged from the dressing room with bright coloured locks was Firmino.
