Real Madrid are likely to sell James Rodriguez only in one condition

Earlier today it has been reported that Arsenal made a contact with Real Madrid over loan move for James Rodriguez. According to AS (via TEAMtalk),Real Madrid made contact with  Tottenham and offered them first refusal on the midfielder. Meanwhile, the La Liga side wants to sign Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen. Real Madrid hopes that Tottenham will accept the offer of €60m plus James for Eriksen. Eriksen is out of contract in summer 2020 and Tottenham cannot afford to allow a player of that quality to run his contract down, which means that this summer both the club, and Eriksen, will face a crucial decision. Meanwhile, James Rodriguez's contract at Real Madrid ends in summer 2021.
