Dutch legend Giovanni van Bronckhorst has raved about Manchester City's Ferran Forres, following the attacker's impressive display for Spain's national team in the UEFA Nations League semi-final on Wednesday.
Spain beat 2 - 1 Italy to reach the final, with Torres scoring the two winning goals for his side and ending the rivals' unbeaten run in 37 games.
“A great performance, and his two goals decided the match,” Van Bronckhorst told the
UEFA website.
“He played the role of a striker well after many said Spain had no real forward in the squad. His two finishes were real class, and it was too bad he had to come off with an injury.”
