RB Leipzig hopeful to beat Manchester United in the rush for Erling Haaland

RB Leipzig are hopeful to beat Manchester United to the signing of Erling Haaland after the RB Salzburg forward met with the club chiefs. Oliver Mintzlaff, Leipzig CEO, confirmed there had been transfer talks concerning Haaland, however, the 19-year-old was a difficult deal for them. Speaking on the race for signing the striker Mintzlaff told Sport1: "It’s the same cliché again: we can buy everything and we can get everything and we can do everything. Unfortunately, we can’t, otherwise, Haaland would already be with us. Yes, we met with him. We are interested in the player, great interest. He listened to it, logically, and is very open to a move.
