Ray Parlour on FA Cup semi-final memories: "I had quite a few winners"

Arsenal and Manchester City will face each other in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday night with both teams eager to book their spot in the final. Ahead of the game, VBET ambassador Ray Parlour has shared his best and worst semi-final memories. "Ok, this weekend, semi-final of the FA Cup. Arsenal v Manchester City at Wembley Stadium.  "My best memories was obviously winning them semi-finals. I had quite a few winners. One that sticks out in my mind is 1993 though.  "First semi-final, Wembley Stadium. Arsenal V Tottenham. It was a really tense game. You could feel the atmosphere from the fans. And lucky enough I got brought down for the free kick. "Paul Merson, back post there was Tony Adams knocking it in the back of the net. What a great memory because that was my first FA Cup win of my career. So that was a very special moment. "Worst memory, obviously it's got to be '99. Villa Park. Manchester United. I get brought down for a penalty. Bergkamp V Schmeichel. Dennis, well he hits the target, Schmeichel makes the save and then we all remember Ryan Giggs' wonder goal.  "Where he takes his shirt off and is swinging it around. That's got to be the worst nightmare. "I don't think the lads spoke to each other for about a week. We were so disappointed. And that year we could have maybe won the double that year."
