Raphel Varane breaks silence following Manchester United's Champions League elimination

Manchester United were eliminated from the Champions League round of 16 after suffering a 2-1 on aggregate defeat to Atletico Madrid on Tuesday. The first leg between the sides ended in a 1-1 draw as Joao Felix opened the scoring for Atletico, meanwhile, Anthony Elanga scored a late equalizer right after coming on. In the second leg, Renan Lodi scored the only goal of the game at the 41st minute and helped La Liga side to qualify for the quarter-finals. Following the game, the Red Devils defender Raphael Varane took to Instagram react to the defeat. He wrote: "We will not point fingers, fight each other or complain. We can reflect on the season when the battle is finished. "The atmosphere last night was incredible, we will fight for everything for this club until the last minute of the season. Failure is a foundation of victory. Proud to defend @manchesterunited."
