"Rangers need that" - Pundit explains why Gerrard's side need to be more like Celtic this season

Former Celtic star Andy Walker, who is currently working as a pundit, insists Rangers need to be more like the Hoops this season. Walker claims, the Gers, need to have other players who are skilful to score goals consistently, as Steven Gerrard’s side rely heavily on Alfredo Morelos. During the current season, Rangers scored 98 goals in all competitions and 28 of those goals has scored Morelos, while other 17 goals have scored Jermain Defoe. In total, only 18 different players from Rangers have scored. Speaking to Sky Sports News, Walker said: “Rangers need that. They need that spread of a goal threat that you see with Celtic. With [Odsonne] Edouard, [Leigh] Griffiths, [Callum] McGregor and [Ryan] Christie, they all chip in with a number of goals. [Christopher] Jullien as well, with the odd defensive headed goal. Rangers need a bigger and better spread of goals, just to take the pressure off Morelos.” Celtic, meanwhile, have better results as they scored 114 goals already this season and 18 different players have scored for Neil Lennon’s side. Moreover, nine Celtic players have scored over five goals each. Source: Read Celtic Join us on Telegram!
