Manchester City starlet Phil Foden made Champions League history last night but that didn’t stop Raheem Sterling from trolling him on Twitter.
Foden is the fourth-youngest Englishman to score a goal in the UEFA Champions League. 18 years and 288 days old.
Following the game, Foden’s old school St Bede’s College tweeted their congratulations, saying: “What a goal by #BedianAlumnus @PhilFoden – creating a piece of History by being the youngest English Player to score in #ChampionsLeague.”
And the midfielder jokingly responded: “Worth forgetting to do my homework to practice for a night like this!”

The tweet was met with various responses praising Foden for his achievement.
“U still have school tomorrow go to bed now kid,” Sterling said.

Foden took the joke in good faith, hitting back with a GIF saying ‘good night’.
