Rafael Benitez ‘ready to welcome’ ex-Arsenal star to Everton in January

Aaron Ramsey is ‘increasingly likely’ to join Everton, who are ‘ready to welcome’ the former Arsenal midfielder to Goodison Park in January. After struggling to establish himself in Serie A, Ramsey is thought to be keen on a departure to earn more game time. Calciomercato (via Sport Witness) claim a move away is ‘certain’ in the winter transfer window after the midfielder rejected ‘many proposals’ in the summer. Reports claim, that Rafael Benitez's side have stolen a march in the bid to sign him. It was also previously reported, that the Welshman prefers a move to Everton over the other PL sides.
