Rafael Benitez makes decision over Newcastle United manager's job

Rafael Benitez has excluded leaving Everton in order to be part of Newcastle United's Saudi Arabia-backed revolution at St James’ Park.

Newcastle’s new owners will decide Steve Bruce’s future in the next couple of days, with their current manager expected to leave as his side are curently 19th in the table. Frank McParland, who is set to lead the recruitment process for Bruce’s long-term successor, will be tasked with finding an experienced manager for the Magpies. However Benitez will not be that figure despite his close links to both St James’ Park and the new regime.
