Rafa Van der Vaart sends advice to Harry Kane over his Tottenham future

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Rafael Van der Vaart has admitted that he is hopeful Harry Kane will stay and win trophies at Spurs now that Jose Mourinho is in charge. Van der Vaart played under Mourinho at Real Madrid before moving to Spurs in 2010. Kane, who was still with Tottenham’s youth set up during the Dutchman’s time at Spurs, has now risen to superstar status. It has even been claimed that the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and PSG are all after his signature. When asked about the 27-year-old’s future, Van der Vaart told Goal.com: “I really hope that he’s going to stay. I hope he’s going to stay. Spurs have a great coach. It’s a club that want to be a championship winner, and the Champions League. They can also pay the money. For me, the best thing is for Harry to stay.” Source: spurs-web
