Barcelona boss Quique Setien has spoken out on the club’s prime transfer targets Neymar and Lautaro Martinez.
The Catalan giants are looking to improve the squad with more attacking options, having the two strikers on their with list.
The club attempted to resign Neymar last summer, however, the deal didn’t materlialise, with PSG unwilling to sell the player. Now the Brazilian is one of the main targets of Barcelona along with Lionel Messi’s Argentina international teammate Martinez from Inter Milan.
However, the coronavirus outbreak can have a huge impact on the club’s budget, forcing to choose one of the strikers.
Speaking on the case, Setien has admitted he would like to coach both Neymar and Martinez, though stressing the possible difficulties they could face.
He told El Larguer: “[I pick] both, because they are excellent players. I don’t think about the future, but about the present. Neymar is a great footballer, and everyone would like to train the best. But we know that he costs so much and that it’s not easy to sign him.”
