Ex-Arsenal star Kevin Campbell has warned, Tottenham new boy Sergio Reguilon the “brutal” English climate will be a true test of his ability to be a Premier League star. Speaking exclusively to Football Insider he revealed he has been impressed by the left-back. The defender joined Tottenham at the same time as headline summer arrival Gareth Bale, costing an initial £28m and rising to a potential £33m “Reguilon, I’ve seen him play quite a few times in Spain, very good player,” Campbell, who works for a broadcaster as a La Liga pundit, told Football Insider. “Offensive full- back. Both of them, Reguilon and Docherty, are quite offensive full-backs. Both seem to have settled okay. “So we’ll see. We’re still early doors at the moment, winter’s not kicked in yet. They’re two very good players. I’d like to see Reguilon with a season under his belt, we’re going to see how he adapts in the winter months because that’s going to test him. In Spain it’s warmer, the climate’s better but over here it can be brutal, so we’ll see.”
