PSG president responds to Kylian Mbappe to Liverpool rumours

Paris Saint-Germain’s president has dismissed rumours that Kylian Mbappe is set to leave the club this summer amid Liverpool and Real Madrid links. The French striker opened up the possibility of an exit last month when he claimed that it ‘could be best moment to start a new project’ after receiving Ligue 1 Player of the Season award. However, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has completely ruled out Mbappe’s claims. "Will he still be at PSG next year? I am not 100 per cent sure, but 200 per cent!’ Al Khelaifi told France Football. ‘I will not let go of this player." “I want players willing to give everything to defend the honour of the jersey and to join the club project. Those who do not want, or do not understand, we see each other and we talk to each other. There are of course contracts to be respected but the priority now is total membership of our project. Nobody forced him to sign here. Nobody pushed him. He came knowingly to join a project.”
