Press conferene: Jurgen Klopp on Henderson fitness, Champions League draw, Brewster transfer links, Aston Villa and more

Liverpool will be on action for the next Premier League clash against Aston Villa. Reds will be looking to celebrate their next league win at Villa Park on Sunday, following the defeat to Arsenal in the Carabao Cup on Thursday night. Ahead of the clash, club boss Jurgen Klopp has met the media. He has provided a fitness update on Jordan Henderson saying:
“He has no muscle issues, he’s not injured any more. Now we have to make sure he can make the next step. What that means for the weekend, I don’t know. It's clear Hendo will use the time with the national team to get match fit. He only had four or five days training with us before the season.”
As the clubs are nearing the international break, Klopp shared his thoughts on the situation.
"We send the players away and the PL and the TV broadcasters give us an extra challenge because they don’t care (examples a Sat 1230 KO after playing in ‘Peru’). I don’t moan, its just difficult. From time to time, a little bit more help would not be bad."
Yesterday evening Liverpool's Champions League group stage opponents have been revealed, while speaking about the draw results, Klopp said:
“It’s a very interesting group, so let’s see. I can’t wait to analyse the opponents next week. It’s an interesting one, all different ways. So let’s make sure that we are ready for them. All the teams who are in the draw, they are there for one reason - they are really good teams. Atalanta were the surprise team in Italy and have settled in that position, Ajax is famous for sensational youth development and football.”
Reds boss also spoke about Rhian Brewster future at the club amid the transfer links with other club, with the likes of Sheffield United.
"Nothing is announceable so I can't say anything about it! Maybe the press conference is too early."
When speaking about the club youngster, Curtis Jones, Klopp said:
“It’s improvement and development on different levels. It’s really nice to be around. Curtis is a proper part of this squad, which is already an achievement.2 It’s massive. Nobody would have a bad sleep if I told them Curtis was starting tomorrow in a PL game...”
On Premier League opponents, Villa, and their new signings, manager added:
“All teams got stronger with the transfer period, and Aston Villa are one. Traore and Barkley are two top, top signings. If we want to attack the Premier League this season then we have to improve because the others have."
