Press conference: Jurgen Klopp on injuries, Newcastle clash, ESL and more

Liverpool will be in action for their next Premier League clash against Newcastle on Saturday. The Reds are currently sitting in 7th place in the league table, while they will be looking to celebrate a win over the Magpies in order to improve their position for the top-four run. Ahead of the match, the club boss Jurgen Klopp met the media to answer the questions. Klopp has provided injury news, confirming that Diogo Jota is fine now, Curtis Jones is back and will be available against Newcastle, while Nat Phillips and Jordan Henderson are not expected to return to action for tomorrow's game. Speaking about the upcoming clash, Klopp said:
"We have to offer a proper, proper fight tomorrow. We have to create, we have to score and we have to defend. We only have massively important games left. Six finals, and we have to win them all."
On the opponents, he said:
"They had a good start to the season and then they dropped off a little bit. They have found a system that works with 5 at the back. Wilson and Saint-Maximin - proper footballers. They have found their line up and we have a job to do."
The manager also opened up on the European Super League, claiming that the most positive thing regarding the competition is that "it didn't happen", though he added:
"You can't just introduce always more competitions. Very good that the new Super League is off the table, but the new CL is not great. UEFA showed me the idea and I said I don't like it - 10 games rather than six. No idea where to put them in."
He also spoke about the players' reaction to the ESL, saying:
"I'm not surprised how the players dealt with it. They are grown ups. It was very good what they did, say their opinion, it's not the first time they have done it and it won't be the last."
Speaking about the future plans, Klopp said:
"I am the manager and I am involved in a lot of things, but these things I was never involved in. I am happy it didn't happen, but I do not need an explanation. We have to plan our future, not talk about what happened last week. "The football structure at this moment is not prepared for more games."
On the bond with fans, the manager added:
"I hope the bond between us and the supporters gets even stronger. Our owners are not bad people - they just made a bad decision, but lets carry on."
