Arsenal have increased their bid for Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes, according to reports.
The 22-year-old continues to being linked with a move to Premier League. Magalhaes, whose contract with the Ligue 1 side runs until the summer of 2023, made 34 appearances in 2019/20 season and scored one goal.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League side Arsenal have increased their bid. The journalist states that Arsenal board is feeling now “confident” to sign the 22-year-old.
Romano wrote on Twitter: "Arsenal have increased their bid to Gabriel Magalhães tonight. They’re pushing to convince him because of Napoli still waiting for Koulibaly situation and Man Utd not in contact with Lille yet. Arsenal board is feeling now “confident” to sign the Brazilian CB."
