Premier League Manager of the Month shortlist for August revealed

The Premier League have revealed the nominees for manager of the month for August.

Manchester City's Pep Guardiola and Arsenal's Mikel Arteta head shortlist, joined by Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp, West Hams' David Moyes and Tottenham's Ange Postecoglou.

Fan votes will play a role in deciding the winner, and you have the opportunity to vote for your favorite coach until the poll concludes at noon UK time on Monday, September 11.

The winner will be announced on Friday 15 September.

Premier League Manager of the Month nominees:

Mikel Arteta: The Spaniard's undefeated Arsenal team has demonstrated their readiness for another title contention with victories against Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace, the sole team to defeat Palace this season, along with a draw against Fulham. Arteta aims to secure the award for the seventh time.

Pep Guardiola: Pep is the only candidate who maintained a flawless record, with his Manchester City clinching victory in all three of their August matches, setting the tone for their title defense. They began with a win against Burnley on the opening day, followed by victories over Newcastle United and Sheffield United.

Jurgen Klopp: Under the German boss' leadership, the Reds extended their unbeaten streak from the previous season into the current one, beginning with two victories and a draw. They kicked off with a 1-1 draw against Chelsea, followed by wins against AFC Bournemouth and Newcastle. Klopp's strategic move to introduce Darwin Nunez during the St James' Park match turned out to be a brilliant substitution.

David Moyes: Since the start of the current campaign, West Ham achieved remarkable 3-1 victories against Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion after a draw in their opening match against Bournemouth. Despite losing their star midfielder, Declan Rice, during the summer, the Hammers finished August in the second position.

Ange Postecoglou: Since taking over Spurs, the Australian manager has wasted no time in leaving a significant impact, reshaping Tottenham Hotspur into an attacking side. This transformation has resulted in wins against Manchester United and Bournemouth, as well as a draw against Brentford.
