Premier League to make VAR changes from next month: But it's not what fans are expecting

Premier League and PGMOL (referees' association) have agreed that VAR changes should be made considering the latest complaints from clubs.  The situation became more concerning after the latest PL match-day. Pep Guardiola was one of the most furious coaches, who felt Michael Oliver did not give Man City two penalties against Liverpool. During the meeting with the representatives of PL side, there has been agreed that VAR, the decision process speed and communication with fans should improve. However, the change that will be from next month, relates only the visuals. Fans will now be allowed to see on the screen not only the fact, that VAR is checking an episode, but also the reason why. Other changes will not be implemented. Mike Riley, PGMOL chief has earlier given credits to the system, mentioning that there has been a 10% increase of right decisions after the implementation of the VAR.
