Premier League: Liverpool 0-2 Everton

Liverpool suffered a 2-0 defeat in the hands of Everton, as the Toffees scored two unanswered goals in Saturday's Merseyside derby. Richarlison opened the scoring already in the third minute of the clash. By the end of the second-half Trent Alexander-Arnold's error handed Everton a penalty, which was perfectly netted by Gylfi Sigurdsson. After the game, Liverpool and Everton have equal 40 points in the Premier League standings and hold 6th and 7th places, respectively.
