How Premier League clubs reacted to proposed Champions League rule changes

UEFA met with the European Association of Clubs this week to discuss potential changes to the competition. An UEFA statement confirmed on Tuesday: "A meeting was held today at UEFA Headquarters, between the UEFA Executive Committee and the ECA Executive Board, which represents the full range of the ECA membership. "The purpose of the meeting was to engage in an informal brainstorming session to allow for an initial sharing of ideas and exchange of views around UEFA Club Competitions post-2024." While a number of clubs are happy to play matches at the weekends, many others are against including Premier League clubs and Barcelona. It has been reported that the clubs told UEFA they have no plans to 'kill' their competition by moving matches to midwekek. Meanwhile, PSG and Juventus are the clubs that want the changes to happen.
